John 1:43-48
English Standard Version
Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael
43 (A)The next day Jesus decided (B)to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, “Follow me.” 44 Now (C)Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45 Philip found (D)Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom (E)Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus (F)of Nazareth, (G)the son of Joseph.” 46 Nathanael said to him, (H)“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, (I)an Israelite indeed, (J)in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How (K)do you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.”

Isaiah 53:5-8
English Standard Version
5 (A)But he was pierced for our transgressions;
he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
(B)and with his wounds we are healed.
6 (C)All we like sheep have gone astray;
we have turned—every one—to his own way;
(D)and the Lord has laid on him
the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted,
(E)yet he opened not his mouth;
(F)like a (G)lamb that is led to the slaughter,
and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent,
so he opened not his mouth.
8 By oppression and judgment he was taken away;
and as for his generation, (H)who considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living,
stricken for the transgression of my people?
